God Wants You To Prosper
ONE OF THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD PRINCIPLES IN THE entire church today seems to be the real purpose of Godly prosperity.
We have an excellent example of what our priorites for wealth should be in Matthew 16:26: “For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
The answers to these two questions from the scripture seem self-evident. Absolutely nothing is worth anything, if our soul will be lost. God values the soul of man, even just one man, above all the riches of the world. Isn’t that an amazing fact?
First We need to understand that God is good. He is all good, all the time. There is no shadow of turning in him. He does not tempt, neither tempts He any man.
When we define prosperity, we also have to define the opposite-Poverty. Jesus said in John 10:10 “The theif cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
God is a God of abundance
Poverty Kills
Poverty Steals
Poverty Destroys.
